With the founding of videocommunity.com – a community for filmmakers - in 2006, fotocommunity GmbH & Co. KG broadened its focus. The videocommunity offers its members high-density videos and the opportunity to present their short films to an audience of a million viewers.  videocommunity’s  winning concept:  community.

videocommunity.com is an exhibition platform for video artists as well as an interface to an entire film crew.   The structure of the community makes it possible for members to include other users in their film projects, thereby transforming passive observers into active players. 

Be it as an actor, producer, director, cameraman, cutter or musician – everyone can make a contribution to the videocommunity, can link up with others and seek out and find joint film or music projects.  In addition, every individual member has the opportunity to upload videos in which they were involved in and can, in turn, invite other collaborators to be linked to the video.
